subtitled HOW I FEEL - inspired by Tina Fey, Beckett's "From an Abandoned Work"
and by America, or whatever America seems to be or mean nowadays -

SHEETCAKE in performance - clockwise - Katie Bernardoni (toy piano), Nadia Shpachenko, Edmund Banuelos, Evan Huang, Aiden Perry (Bass), Marina Zhang
SHEETCAKE was originally composed for one and then quickly revised for two pianos -
it has since expanded instrumentally for the world premiere - the video below is of the two piano version -
SHEETCAKE was originally composed in 2017 as a sonata for piano -
(in many ways inspired by Tina Fey's thoughts on sheetcake - see video here) -
then, revisiting it, I felt certain revisions were really needed,
including rethinking it for two pianos - click HERE for the score of that version -
Nadia Shpachenko, on hearing that version, asked me to revise it once again
for her students at Cal Poly Pomona - and now:
